House of Royals by Keary Taylor

Publication date: June 21st 2015

Every town has its history and skeletons, but Silent Bend, Mississippi’s are darker than most. Ruled from the shadows by the House—the immortal Born and their aging, enslaved Bitten—everyone knows not to go out after dark and that the police will never look into crimes involving blood.

Alivia Ryan didn’t know the man who claims to be her father through a will even existed until she inherits the Conrath plantation. Instead of the sleepy house she expects, she finds a mansion and a staff who look at her with fear in their eyes.

Ian Ward tried to kill Alivia the first time they meet, and then insisted he train her to defend herself against the House, who he claims will try to manipulate and take her in for their own political reasons. And the growing attraction between them will threaten their lives—Ian is a sworn enemy of the House.

In Silent Bend, people disappear, the threat of a demented King and the legend of his resurrecting Queen hang over everyone’s heads, and proving loyalty means far more than blood. You’d better watch who you trust in this town…

Keary Taylor grew up along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains where she started creating imaginary worlds and daring characters who always fell in love. She now resides on a tiny island in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their two young children. She continues to have an overactive imagination that frequently keeps her up at night. She is the author of THE EDEN TRILOGY, the FALL OF ANGELS trilogy, and WHAT I DIDN'T SAY.

Author Q & A

Q: Tell us about your current release release?

A: My new release is DEEP BLUE ETERNITY. I am so excited about this book. It’s a definite
departure from the world of EVERSEA but no less true to my writing style. Formerly known as
The Cottage (and funnily enough the cottage in the book is almost like an additional character
in the story, bearing witness to the love story), my UK publisher felt that Deep Blue Eternity, a
phrase used in the book to describe love would be a better fit. And I agree! Why didn’t I think of
it first?

Q: What genre would you say the book is?

A: Contemporary definitely, as it is present day. And of course romance. However, there is a
suspenseful and gothic undertone to the story as it is set in an area rife with superstition.

Q: If you had to sum your book up in 30 or less words, what would you say?

A: DEEP BLUE ETERNITY is a deeply emotional book and while it deals with some tough issues,
it’s about the aftermath and recovery of those things in our past. It’s about forgiveness and it’s
about how falling in love changes us.

Q: Is there an Author that you would really like to meet?

A: Darynda Jones. I love her sense of humor. I think we’d be besties.

Q: Do you prefer eBooks, paperbacks or hardcover?

A: My son says the books he reads that he holds in his hands stay with him longer. I might be
inclined to agree. But in the end, I just love books. For ease of transport and instant gratification
(1-click buy anyone?) - eBooks.

Q: Is there a particular movie that you preferred over the book version?

A: Great question! This doesn’t happen very often, does it. I’m so glad they turned outlander into a
show so we could keep the detail that made the book so extraordinary. The Beach, The Princess
Bride, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers – oh, and Fifty Shades of Grey!

Q: So what are you working on next?

A: Aaaah the age old question. I’m actually working on several projects. But hopefully the next
thing that will be ready, finally, is a spin off of the Eversea series featuring the heroine’s best
friend Jazz.

Q: White wine or red?

A: White

Q: Coffee or tea?

A: Tea

Q: Vanilla or chocolate ice-cream?

A: Swirl

Q: What are 4 things you never leave home without?

A: Book, Kindle, phone (with kindle app), pen and paper for inspiration, updated inspiration

Q: Your thoughts on receiving book reviews - the good and the bad – ?

A: In the beginning of my writing career I felt like I had bipolar, one review would make me high,
the next would cut me down so hard I wouldn’t want to ever write again. But than fully that phase was short-lived. If you do all you can to make sure it’s your best work - then bad reviews have to be ‘water off a ducks back’... But seriously, bad reviews probably bother you most when you know deep down you could have done something better. That’s probably a backwards way to look at it... but I guess that makes me backwards Good reviews? Aaaah, good, honest, unexpected reviews... there’s nothing like it. And the reviews where someone lets you know that reading your book got them through a tough time, or started a new love of reading? Well, that makes it all worth it!

Q: Where is one place in the world that you would really love to visit someday?

A: Macchu Picchu in Peru.

Q: One of your favorite quotes -

A: Man will never discover new oceans, unless he has courage to lose sight of the shore
– AndrĂ© Gide.

Haunted Love by Jessica Frances

Publication date: February 23rd 2015

My name is Thea Bell and I was murdered.

I always assumed that death was the end. So when my life was cruelly taken away from me, I never thought I would get a second chance to say what I needed to. But then I was given a choice, a choice that allowed me to see the people I had left behind, and I knew I had to take it.

I wanted to say a proper goodbye. I needed justice for what happened to me.

But even in death, things rarely go to plan.

I never expected to meet him. I didn’t anticipate falling in love. I hadn’t considered the repercussions of coming back. I never realized I would put another person in danger.

I didn’t know my actions were going to haunt us forever.

My name is Detective Aiden Mercer, and I think I have gone insane.

I am seeing the murder victim of my current case alive and in the flesh, and that is simply not possible. I can see her, hear her, touch her. She’s real to me, however I know this cannot be real. Right? But try telling my heart that, because as I grow closer to catching Thea’s killer, I also fall deeper into trouble.

Because love is rarely anything but trouble and I know this love will haunt me forever.

Talia hopes that in her travels the hole that Brad left in her heart becomes fill with what she truly desires...love.

Thoughts: I enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to reading the others in the series. I liked how well the story it written so you can see a young girl blossom into a heart breaker. I did have some problems with it, my first issue was the fact that you don't really know much about her parents like their occupation or how they drown. I also found it a bit annoying that in certain parts of the story it would take forever for characters to say what needed to be said, but even with that I still found the book enjoyable. I would recommend this for lovers of romance/erotica novels.

" Mere words could not possibly describe the infinite sea of roses that passes between your ruby lips. You are my perfection."

" I had experienced enough in my life to appreciate that all things happened for a reason."

The Rearranged Life by Annika Sharma COVER REVEAL + GIVEAWAY!

The Rearranged Life by Annika Sharma

Published by: Curiosity Quills Press
Publication date: May 15th 2015

Nithya, a vivacious, intelligent and driven college senior has always known what she's wanted: a successful career in medicine and the love of her family. She's even come to terms with the idea of an arranged marriage, a tradition her conservative Indian family has held up for thousands of years.

When a night of partying puts her on a collision course with danger, Nithya's entire life changes. Enter James St. Clair, the smart, challenging and heartbreakingly handsome American. As Nithya and James fall in love, she questions the future she and her parents have always planned. To make matters worse, Nishanth, the son of newly reunited family friends is the perfect match for her in the eyes of her loved ones.

Now, Nithya has a choice to make: become a doctor and a good Indian bride, or step away from her family and centuries of culture to forge her own path. The decision she comes to takes her on a journey that transforms how she sees her future, her relationships with loved ones, and how she learns to put herself back together when even her best-laid plans fall apart.

Annika Sharma was born in India and moved to the United States (Pennsylvania!) when she was a baby. Annika was a daydreamer from day one, always coming up with stories and games of pretend that seemed real. She was a serious journal-writer from fifth grade to college and wrote dramatic scenes for stories often, inspired by soap operas she watched in summers off from school.

Eventually, when the time for college came around, Annika’s parents encouraged her to pursue journalism. Convinced she couldn’t make a living from writing, Annika disagreed. After five years, two degrees, two minors, working with children, being a dancer teacher, and creating a two-and-a-half page resume in college that had interests so all-over-the-place that even she couldn’t make sense of it, Annika finally decided her parents were right. Writing was where her heart was, all along.

In the month before graduate school, the idea Annika had in my mind for years finally poured out in the form of the novel, The Rearranged Life. Annika began editing in earnest after she finished her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education, landing Stacey Donaghy of Donaghy Literary Group as an agent. Three months later, she had a book deal with Curiosity Quills.

In her spare time, Annika loves spending time with her family and friends, often indulging in the three S’s: Starbucks, shopping and superhero movies. As a chocolate lover and general all-around vegetarian foodie, Annika also adores cooking.

Book Excerpt

The azure shade of his eyes caressed me to my soul. I swear he looked at me like no one else ever could. It was like there was nothing else in existence except me. It was like he wasn’t just looking at me, but in me, and I was the most precious thing he’d ever seen.
I got caught up in that gaze. I got caught up in him. My chest felt like it caved in, but not in a disaster sort of way. Like it was sealing in everything he was saying even though no words
ever left his tongue.
“How do you do it?” I whispered. My tongue felt thick against the roof of my mouth.
“Do what?” he asked. That look never once left his eyes. If anything, it swept me in tighter.
“How do you look at me like… like I’m everything?”
He made a low sound in the deepest part of his throat. Sort of like a growl, sort of like an agreement.
“Because you are.”
“Romeo.” I sighed.
“Rimmel,” he replied. “Don’t forget.”
I started to pull back from the moment, but his fingers tightened on my hip. I looked back up.
“Don’t forget this moment. Don’t forget the absolute truth in the way you feel right now. I love you and I’m not going to stop.”
Emotion welled up in my throat and tears rushed to the backs of my eyes. His words were beautiful, but it was the reason he said them that had me so choked up.
This wasn’t the end.
Beyond this moment, this quiet, whole moment with him, were many more. Many more that weren’t going to be like this one.
We were going to have to keep fighting to keep what was ours.
“I’m not going to stop either,” I whispered.
A smile stretched over his face and lit up his eyes. I leaned closer and sealed my vow with my lips. The rush of heat I always felt when we kissed tingled my toes and they curled into the blankets. I opened my mouth so his tongue could venture inside, and I sighed, so wanting to feel him.
But the moment was cut short.
The door opened and a man with graying hair, a white coat, and a file in his hand stepped in.
Beyond this moment, this quiet, whole moment with him, were many more. Many more that weren’t going to be like this one.We were going to have to keep fighting to keep what was ours.

But the moment was cut short. The door opened and a man with graying hair, a white coat, and a file in his hand stepped in.
“Mr. Anderson,” he said, looking straight at Romeo. It was like he didn’t even notice the intimate bubble Romeo and I occupied. “I have your X-ray results.”
The bubble burst abruptly and reality rushed back in.
Romeo’s dad came in the room, his face concerned as Valerie hovered just outside the doorway staring into the room like it was some forbidden fruit.I scrambled up to sit on the mattress, ignoring the protests of my sore body. Romeo did the same, moving a little more gingerly. In the space between us on the mattress, our fingers intertwined.
“How bad is it?” Romeo asked. For once I heard fear in his tone.
I glanced at him. He glanced at me. Our moment was over. The fight started now.
