Thoughts: I jumped at the chance to own this book since I loved Ready Player One, and though I wasn't disappointed with this book I wasn't completely happy with it either. I thought the story was predictable and felt that if you have seen The Last Starfighter and read the book Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card then you have pretty much already read this book, but don't let that keep you from reading it because Ernest Cline has a talent for inventing clever and funny characters and his writing is equally awesome as well. I was just looking for another epic story like Ready Player One and unfortunately this book didn't measure up with his first novel.

Also if you buy the hardback version of this book make sure to look on the inside of the dust jacket for this beauty.
